I know it’s been a while since I wrote…mea culpa.  But I’ve discovered a wonderful wine that’s inexpensive and easy to drink.  It was recommended to me by a dear lady who’s been in the restaurant business for quite a while and has a good palate.

It’s Angeline, a Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley.  Priced at around $12-15, it’s very soft and is compatible with both beef and poultry.  Try it.
